General Information
Our reception staff are here to assist you with any questions, suggestions, or feedback. Next to the reception, you will also find various informational materials about Zermatt. An iPad is available at the Jäger-Bar for you to conduct your own research. The team from Zermatt Tourism at the train station square is also happy to help you.
Departure
Please vacate your room by 10:30 am on the day of departure. If you are leaving before 08:00 am, we kindly ask you to settle your bill the evening before by 21:00. We accept credit cards but prefer payment in cash, by Postcard, EC card, or Twint. Don't forget to return your room key at the reception.
Adapters
Adapters can be borrowed at the reception for a deposit.
Doctors & Pharmacies
In every lift, you will find the emergency plan for the on-call doctors and pharmacies in Zermatt. In life-threatening situations, please dial the emergency number 144.
„Do Not Disturb“
If you do not wish to be disturbed or do not require room cleaning, you can hang the designated red card on your room door.
Stamps & Postcards
You can purchase these at our reception. We are also happy to mail your stamped cards or letters for you.
Feedback
Do you have feedback or suggestions for improving your stay? Please let us know personally. We also greatly appreciate online reviews on holidaycheck.ch, tripadvisor.de, or booking.com.
Fire
Please remain calm in the event of a fire alarm and follow the instructions of the hotel staff and the fire department. The escape routes are marked, and the assembly point is located in front of the hotel. Please also refer to the relevant information on your room door.
Fitness Room
The fitness room is located in the basement of the Tiefbach building, right next to the main building. Please ask at the reception for the key.
Breakfast
The extensive breakfast buffet in our restaurant is available from 07:00 to 11:30 am.
Lost and Found
Lost items are kept for six months. Please report immediately if you are missing something.
Vouchers
All vouchers can be ordered at the reception, by phone, or online via our website.
Towel Change
Please help us save water and protect the environment. If the towels are hanging on the holders, you wish to continue using them. If they are on the floor, we will gladly exchange them for new ones.
Hotel Shuttle
We are happy to take you to the Zermatt train station or taxi stand free of charge on your departure day between 08:00 and 21:00. Please notify us in advance to schedule an appointment.
Internet
You have access to our WiFi throughout the hotel. Please select the password-free network „Hotel Jägerhof Public Wlan“.
Jäger-Bar
Our house bar is open daily from 16:00 to 23:00 for you.
Coffee Machine
Coffee machines are available in our apartments. Capsules can be purchased at the reception at a reasonable price.
Pillows
Please contact the reception if you would like an extra pillow.
Quiet Hours
Please be considerate of other guests within our premises.
Opening Hours
The reception is staffed from 08:00 to 21:00. The hotel entrance doors remain open all night. Outside of opening hours, you can reach us in very urgent cases at (+41) 077 461 78 76.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel, except on the balconies and the forecourt. Please always use an ashtray.
Umbrellas
Umbrellas can be borrowed at the reception for a deposit.
Restaurant
Our kitchen team will enchant you daily between 18:30 and 21:00. Pets are not allowed in our restaurant.
Ski Bus
The free buses to the ski lifts run along the river. Please ask at the reception where the exact stops are located.
Ski Room
Please store your skis in the ski room and leave your ski boots outside your room.
Solarium
The solarium is located in the basement of the Tiefbach building, right next to the main building. We charge CHF 5.00 per session. Please ask at the reception for the key.
Taxi
You can reach the taxi service Taxi Bolero at (+41) 027 967 60 60. Our reception staff can make the call for you if desired.
Telephone
Dial the desired number without any additional input. You can reach the reception at the number 8000.
Laundry Service
You are welcome to drop off your laundry for cleaning at the reception. You will find the price list and laundry bag in the cupboard.
Kettle
Please ask at the reception if you need a kettle.
Wake-up Call
Please let us know your desired wake-up time by 20:30 at the latest.
